Health News Review

If you didn’t see it, you really shouldn’t miss a segment from The Daily Show from last week. Its introduction:

“Science claims it’s working to cure disease, save the planet and solve the greatest human mysteries, but Aasif Mandvi finds out what it’s really up to.”

From global warming…to evolution…to the HPV vaccine and other topics, the segment looks at science bashing and the clash between science and politics.

If you’re using a Canadian ISP you won’t be able to view the video excerpt above, but it’s accessible at http://watch.thecomedynetwork.ca/the-daily-show-with-jon-stewart/full-episodes/#clip558325

What scares me is there actually are people like this that are roaming the planet. You just don’t know who they are, until they open their mouths.

Thanks for all the good information.
Last night there was “funny” segment on Jon Stewart’s show. About the Cancer and Heart associations lobbying against a bill that would promote healthy lifestyle (H.R. 3472, a bill providing health insurance premium discounts for exercising)
