There’s nothing terribly new or surprising about the kind of email invitation to doctors that we came across today.
We simply present it as an opportunity for the general public to get a glimpse of how some of their doctors may be “educated” about new drugs.
There was no fine print about whether you had to actually stay awake during the webinar.
On the same day on which we posted about “too few or too weak” medical school conflict of interest policies, does this style of “continuing education” give you any confidence?
